Room correction is DSP (digital signal processing) that measures your listening room's acoustic problems and applies corrective EQ. Fixes bass room modes and treble reflections that can't be solved with better speakers alone. Dirac Live and REW are standards.

Room correction uses a measurement microphone at your listening position + DSP software to identify acoustic problems in your room and apply corrective EQ.

Reality check

Room correction below 300 Hz is highly beneficial. Above 300 Hz, effect is subtle at best. Focus DSP on bass and let speakers handle midrange/treble naturally.
